The results showed that at Monte Alegre do Sul and Pindorama the combination of the three treatments gave the best yield, while in Ribeirão Prêto the response was not the same. Although irrigation increased bean yields in Monte Alegre do Sul and Pindorama it did not act so in Ribeirão Preto. Incorporation of vegetative matter in the soil had favorable effect on the yield increase of dry beans at all three localities. Among the mineral fertilizers there was a yield response only to phosphorus at the three localities while in Ribeirão Preto there was response to potassium and at Pindorama and Monte Alegre do Sul to nitrogen. Experimentos com o objetivo de estudar a associação de diversas práticas agrícolas sobre a produção do feijoeiro, realizados nas estações experimentais de Monte Alegre do Sul, Pindorama e Ribeirão Prêto, mostraram, nas duas primeiras localidades, que a combinação de irrigação, adubação mineral e incorporação ao solo da massa vegetal semi-decomposta de Crotalaria junceaproporcionou melhores produções, o que não ocorreu na última localidade. A irrigação aumentou a produção de feijão em Monte Alegre do Sul e Pindorama, ao passo que, em Ribeirão Prêto, o seu efeito foi práticamente nulo. A massa vegetal provocou aumentos nas três localidades. Quanto aos adubos minerais, o fósforo aumentou a produção nas três experiências. Para o potássio, a resposta foi positiva apenas em Ribeirão Prêto, enquanto o nitrogênio melhorou as produções em Monte Alegre do Sul e Pindorama.Artigos
